sinkr (212), Lusby, Maryland, USA Jun 9, 2009 Tap@Brewer’s Alley in Frederick, MD->mini pilsner glass. Pours a white, diminishing head atop a red, slightly cloudy body. Cherry flanvor, medium body, decent aftertaste, ending mildly astringent. I continue to be very unmoved by fruit-based beers and this one is certainly no exception. Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 6, 2009 Not much of a cherry taste in this guy, had only a slight cherry flavor, a hint of yeast, had an unfiltered feel to it. Derek881 (489), Frederick, Maryland, USA Apr 5, 2009 This beer was on tap at the brewpub in the spring of 2009. It had a darker red color that was slightly cloudy and had a modest off-white head with mild cling and retention. Its aroma featured cherries and some malt and maybe yeast. The taste was a sweet-sour mix of cherries and was fairly malty. A wetter beer with lower carbonation and a medium to thin body. Not one of the better seasonals the brewery has offered, but worth trying.
