From draught sample at the brewpub. Not much of any nose to this one and definitely not a blueberry aroma. Light carbonic gaseousness at most, with no hops or sweetness. It’s just kinda there. Dull amber-straw clear, with no head. Thin watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts weakly, with a bit of watery sweetness. Very little blueberry presesnce, though there is a subtle blueberry skin musky quality in there. Just a bit of fruity acidity in the finish, and a mild wheat taste. Almost no aftertaste to this. It’s not bad, just dull.

I tried this beer on tap at the brewery, in August of 2008. May have been a new recipe, but I am not sure. The beer had a muted aroma, scents of wheat and yeast, maybe some grain, but barely any blueberry discernible. It was a cloudy straw color with a foamy white head that had good retention. The flavor was mostly wheat and grainy hops, and I really could not pick up much of a blueberry flavor at all. It had a fuller body, with decent carbonation and a drying finish.
