Commercial Description:
This is the lightest style of weizen beer. The grist contains a large portion of wheat, which lends a distinctive note to the malt body and aroma. This style has significant haze and cloudiness. Also, it has been brewed with a traditional Bavarian weizen yeast, which gives it a pronounced clove and spicy character, as well as banana and bubblegum, and even some slight vanilla notes. Available June through September.

Murky light golden body under a short lived white head. Light spicey sweet aroma, bananna , clove, lemon zest. Light body lacks a bit in the flavor department. A bit yeasty and sweet. Fair hefe.

WWCII: Courtesy of Hopscotch. Also my first growler! Medum hazy honey lemon gold under a medium small short lasting head. Mild wet grain sour dough and citrus aroma. Real pronounced banana estery spicey flavour especially as it warms. A decent enough Hefe - and in such large quantities too! Thanks Hopscotch.

Pours hazy orangw with a medium head. Aroma is of citrus, gentle bubblegum, and wheat. Flavor is a solid hefe yeastiness (wheat, bubblgum, slight spice and banana). Medium body. Nothing different or special just a very solid hefe.

Thanks to hopscotch for bringing this to When Continents Collide 2! I really liked this one. A shame I couldn't drink more of it. Clouded blond body with a tall foamy white head. Strong banana and clove aroma - sort of sweet. Mmmm! Thinner body but made up of strong spice, and banana with some wheat and yeast notes. Pretty good hefeweizen, I thought.

Cloudy gold, creamy white head, some lacing. Aroma of banana, clove and wheat. Wheaty, citrus, slightly spicy, some water character. Mild carbonation.

Hazy golden color with smallish white head. Not much aroma esp., for a wheat. What aroma there is yeasty. Tastes of banana and slight cloves. Medium bodied where I expected light. Finish is over before it started. All tastes vanished almost immediately.

Banana nose, taste. Nothing up front, but then a wheaty banana opens up onto the tongue and mildly surrounds it. Minimal aftertaste. Basically, this beer is all on the tongue -- nothing at the front, and almost nothing on the swallow.

Very yeasty and candy-like, lots of flavors of candy and bubblegum. Is a bit thin, and has an odd, harsh skunkiness in the finish.
