| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2007 Served at the restaurant in a pint glass, the beer had a rich brown color with a faint red tint. It was dark and cloudy with a small, creamy tan head. The aroma was malt dominated with roasty and toasty nut malt and a touch of caramel. It had a creamy, fizzy mouthfeel and a wet body. The taste was not too sweet, more of a bitter feel with a slight sour edge. A solid nut brown ale, but not the brewery’s specialty. Frauditor (148), Hagerstown, Maryland, USA

I don’t care much for Nut Brown Ales, but this one had a very weak presence.
Drinkable, but uninspired. Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
