This beer rocks.
The aroma is of dark roast coffee with a touch of chocolate. Though very dark, this beer is not black. Hold it up to the Sun and you see a lovely crimson hue. Deep brown to almost black with a reddish hue. Medium tan head. Roasted malt and cocoa with definite alcohol notes in the aroma. Aroma of dry earthy doughy dark malts and some milk chocolate. Body starts sweet, toasty and earthy with some chocolate chip cookie dough and a smoother toasty finish with some lingering coffee. A decent oatmeal stout.
