Elwood (667), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Mar 15, 2009 Labeled as their ESB, not Owens Ale. Draft. Deep amber color with a off-white head. Nice lacing is left behind. Both hops and malt in the aroma. Medium low carbonation with a rich mouthfeel. Caramel, coffee, and rich malt flavors up front. A nice hop bitterness helps round things out. Definitely a little more complexity here that with some of their other beers. A pretty good ESB and worth a try. hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 23, 2002 This beer rocks.
Light Mohogany in color. The nose is floral and nutty. Nice blend of hops, malt and alcohol in the flavor. Very well balanced. Full mouthfeel. Crisp, clean finish. Great bitter.
