Aroma - Grains, hay, grass, faint floral hops
Appearance - Clear gold, small, fleeting, foamy white head
Flavor - Light maltiness, rather vague bitterness, and a slight soapy aftertaste
Palate - Light body, a little thin but not watery, clean, dry
Overall - Pleasant enough, but just lacking in a few areas, and with this rather delicate style, small issues are more obvious. jcwattsrugger (5525), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 22, 2008 From draught sample at the brewpub. Light pilsner malt sweetness, a touch of something herbal, like a pleasant soap along with mild hoppy grassiness. Clear pale yellow with a creamy white lacing head. Medium watery body with light carbonation. Starts with nice crisp punch, light pilsner malt sweetness and a hint of acidity. Beany hops at the finish, with medium bitter character to round out the swallow. Light bitter after, almost like a classic German pilsener. Clean and refreshing.
