Commercial Description:
A very pale beer brewed as a lager and which has a crisp, assertive Czechoslovakian Saaz hop character. This beer took 6 weeks to produce because the strain of yeast we used has a slow and cold fermentation, which results in a very smooth beer. (July and August)

Bottled. Poured a clear medium golden with a dusting and some loose bubbles of white head. Aroma picked up some bready and floral notes.. soft with a bit of lemon that showed up a little late.. little dusty too. Flavor picked up a decent base of bready pils maltage with floral and herbal bitterness that lasted quite a while. Light-bodied and a little sticky on the palate. OK.

Light lemony aroma. Light green-gold. Fluffy head. Lightly tangy, zippy, lemony, lightly sweet and a little aley. Kolsch-like. Longish tangy-hoppy finish. Refreshing.

Pale, golden/amber appearance with a small white head and good lacing. Grainy, cut straw aroma along with a touch of spice coming from the hops. Toasted malt taste, respectably hopped, moderately bitter. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel with a crisp, dry finish.

Draught, at the brewpub, July 2006. The second beer from the sampler (after the Kolsch) and a pattern seemed to be emerging. Clean and fresh, quite light and easy drinking. No huge depth of flavour. Some residual sweetness. There is some tingly Saaz hoppiness but I really don’t like sweetness in a pilsner. That aside, quite decent.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub, this beer had a very clear, light gold color with a medium-sized, foamy white head. The aroma was grassy hops and some yeast; light on malt. It had medium carbonation, with a light, somewhat oily, smooth texture. It tasted mildly bitter early with a sour finish. This beer is not bad, but it is an unexciting pilsner.

Mildly interesting brew with a bit of hops and what appears to be lemon. That kind of gives way to what might be the taste of a piece of toast with old jelly that has been left in a glass of beer.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light hoppy notes. The flavor is malty with light notes of fruit, leading to a dry slightly bitter end.

Shared with Beerdrenched. Pours hazy yellow / light orange with almost no head (bad sign). The aroma is clean and spicy with a touch of perfume. Medium / light body with light carbonation. Taste starts with light sourness, some spice and smooth malt. The finish has fruitiness that is on the citrus side and is fairly sharp. Okay pils, nothing exciting.
