The aroma is lightly floral with whispers of alcohol and butter.
The flavor offers light notes of butterscotch, straw and citrus fruit (lemon). Well-balanced.
Light bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. One of my least favorite styles, but very refreshing, this one. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Bottle courtesy of hopscotch. Pours gold with a rocky white head. Smells perfumy with malty undertones and some underlying citrus. Tastes citrussy with some nice spicy bittering hops and a decent malt backbone. More citrus qualities are present on the finish along with some Jolly Rancher hints. Mouthfeel is light and tingly. Well done! ľ (4999), Colorado, USA

Light and crisp, some grassy C-note hops up front, and more of a candy syrup in the back. Simple but tasty. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2007 Draught, at the brewpub, July 2006. The second beer from the sampler (after the Kolsch) and a pattern seemed to be emerging. Clean and fresh, quite light and easy drinking. No huge depth of flavour. Some residual sweetness. There is some tingly Saaz hoppiness but I really don’t like sweetness in a pilsner. That aside, quite decent.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Bottle from State Line. Hazy deep golden pour with a floral hop, spicy, and and bready pale malt nose, leading to flavors of dry, Saaz hops, crisp pale malt, and some fisnihing fruity notes. Stays rather dry but very hoppy, with a spicy, bready, sort of slight Belgian funky note accompanying the hops all the way along, and it works very well for me.
