Pours to a beautiful, bright, golden color, with a white head that fades, and a moderate amount of carbonation. The nose of this beer is excellent with aromas of pale, and sweet malt, paired with earthy yeast, and peppery alcohol. The palate is firm, with lots of good sweet and pale malt flavor, along with flavors of candy sugar. Cerebrus finishes with more pale malt flavor up front, then ends with some earthy yeast flavor, and peppery alcohol. Very impressive domestic example of tripel. This beer rocks!
Crystal clear, very light yellow ale.
Nice, creamy, white head. Mostly lasting with minimal lacework.
The aroma is interest and good. Notes of jalapenos, Geueze and chardonnay. The high ABV is not evident in the nose.
Tasty. Very sweet up front. Honey and alcohol notes. Well-bittered.
Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Short, astringent, dry finish. World class brew!
