Draft at Brewers Art the weekend of Max’s 72 Hour Belgian Beerfest. Golden body. Aroma starts off flowery with sweet malts and soft spices. Begins to drift towards bubblegummy notes grains and dried fruit. Taste is more dried fruits, Belgian yeast, grains, candy notes, and sweet malts. Subtle spices throughout. Body is medium and the carbonation rather bubbly and effervescent. Ends with a stronger spice base, more grains, candy/bubblegum flavors more fruit and Belgian yeast/dusty flavors. Rather enjoyable!

Jan 15, 2008 the description is right...deceptively smooth. just the slightest sign of the 9.5%ABV. even my g/f called this a dangerous beer. drank really easy with no burn going down...the alcohol was more apparent in the nose than in the flavor. fruity, malty with a dose of honey in the flavor...very nice indeed

Jan 2, 2008 Tap. Golden pour w/ minimal lacing. Very strong malt aroma. Very flat tasting, like there other offerings.

Dec 9, 2006 Musty, yeast aroma -- doughy, light esters and phenols. Very pale clear yellow. Nicely balanced between sweet, bitter, tart and then briny at times. ABV apparent, but it only seems strong in the finish. Fruit notes, light banana. Perppery finish. Medium body.
