Slight cherry aroma, with a tart cherry flavor. Good, but I prefer Oliver’s Cherry Blossom ale a slight bit more. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

However, it may be "rare" (and it is expensive) but nothing outstanding here. Initial cherry taste quickly fades into a thin tasting beer. I’m not sure what type of beer Brewers Art was going for here. egajdzis (3625), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2004 Poured a brownish red color with a small head, but no lacing. Very mild, almost non-existant funky cherry aroma. Taste cherry taste, possibly some diactyl? with a watery, but over carbonated mouthfeel. guzzler67 (1278), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 14, 2004 Murky, reddish brown appearance with a tart, fruity aroma. The added sour cherry flavor compliments the ale without overpowering it. Hops and malts also seem pretty well harmonized. Lively carbonation with a moderately acidic finish. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Hazy, burnt orange ale. Creamy, white head. Ok lacing.
The nose is fruity and spicy (ginger? allspice?) with a hint of cherry.
The flavor is nice, but unspectacular. Vanilla, gingery, malty flavor up front. Sour cherries and light, bittering hops on the backside for perfect balance.
Light-bodied with a watery, astringent mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Too thin, though!
Short, dry, acidic finish. A little bland overall, but refreshing. I've have much better! Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

Very minor cherry presence and no sourness at all. Don't know what statement their are trying to make. You can do better when at Brewer's Art. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2003 Disappointing as a flemish sour. Tastes like their resurrection with some medicinal cherry syrup. The sourness is really lacking and the cherry is nor prominent. Drinkable as something different but not a great seasonal effort.
