Hazy, burnt orange ale. Creamy, white head. Ok lacing.
The nose is fruity and spicy (ginger? allspice?) with a hint of cherry.
The flavor is nice, but unspectacular. Vanilla, gingery, malty flavor up front. Sour cherries and light, bittering hops on the backside for perfect balance.
Light-bodied with a watery, astringent mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Too thin, though!
Short, dry, acidic finish. A little bland overall, but refreshing. I've have much better! motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2004 Poured a brownish red color with a small head, but no lacing. Very mild, almost non-existant funky cherry aroma. Taste cherry taste, possibly some diactyl? with a watery, but over carbonated mouthfeel. Dickinsonbeer (3499), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2008 bctc 08. I cant beleive this was one of the first beers for them to kick. Pretty bad stuff here. Pours a decent looking deep amber fruity red with a thin lasting head. Aroma was cough syrup, wierd slick cherries- and Diacetyl! ech- diacetyl in a fruit beer- gross. More syrupy cherry juice in the flavor mixed with butter and a weird slick finsih. Meh. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 4, 2008 BCTC. Wow, this was bad. Dull, lager-like aroma, very vegetal. Crap. Sour cherry? Are you kidding? Nothing in this even comes close to showcasing cherry, or sour, or even any fruit. Blech. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a murky, orangish-brown color; off-white head with good retention and tight lacing. Dense, moldy fruits and sugar in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: overripe apples and some cinnamon; light spice, but mostly bland overall. Medium, apple and overripe fruit finish. JFGrind (1354), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2004 Draft @ the Grey Lodge Pub - Hyped up as a very rare beer, that was nice to see it at the G-Lodge. However, it may be "rare" (and it is expensive) but nothing outstanding here. Initial cherry taste quickly fades into a thin tasting beer. I’m not sure what type of beer Brewers Art was going for here.
