argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Jan 15, 2004 Opaque copper with medium beige head. Aroma is light, light sweet, very herbal, some grapefruit. Taste is some sour, mild sweet, fruity, grapefruit on top that quickly gives way to fairly strong herbal. Watery medium body, some resin. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2004 On tap. Poured a hazy amber color with an averaged sized head. Citris and spicy aroma. Dry and bitter aftertaste. egajdzis (3014), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 2, 2004 Updated: Feb 8, 2004A hazy gold color with a very small white head and some lacing. Spice and citrus dominated this brew. The_Beer_God (2855), Newport News, Virginia, USA Apr 12, 2008 Draft at Max’s 72 Hour Belgian Beer Fest. This was on cask, actually. Cloudy brown. Nose is fruity and sweet. Taste is VERY fruity with soft yeast, soft caramel, and light flowery hops. Slick feel to the body that typically comes with cask beers. Soft to no carbonation. Lighter feel overall. Lots more big fruit during the finish. More yeast notes and flowers too. Very tasty! MilkmanDan (1938), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Jan 20, 2004 Deep cloudy amber, off-white head. Nose sour, bit herbal. Taste is very herbal and somewhat rancid, I imagine brewing a beer with fluid squeegeed off the bottom of a garbage can might give you this sort of flavor. Had a surpringly noticeable alcohol burn for something only 7.8%.
