Was a pretty decent dubbel. Lovely coppery color and smooth taste. Despite the description, it was a little too sweet. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2008 On draft at Max’s Belgian Fest 08, poured a cloudy light copper color with a sweet fruity aroma. Tastes a sweet fruity flavor as well, with several fruity flavors through out. Complex and very good. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Updated: Jan 13, 2008Draft at Max’s. This Resurrection tasted much different than those I had in years past. This Resurrection pours a cloudy amber with a small head and a lot of lacing. It is much sweeter than the original, and the bitterness that was a mainstay is all but gone. I tasted pear, with a light, sweet finish. I am going to have another at The Brewer’s Art to compare and will update the rating. mcbackus (753), Merritt Island, Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Draught: Aroma of citrus, caramel malt, and mandarin orange. Poured copper/amber in color with a medium-sized, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor of orange, citrus, Belgian yeast, and bubblegum. Medium to full body. Slightly thick texture. Average carbonation. Yeasty finish. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Pours a copper amber with an off white head. Faint aroma of caramel and esters. Initial flavor of caramel, dark fruits, and citrus that is quickly overpowered by band aid phenols. Some like that phenolic character. Unfortuntately I do not. TURDFERGUSON (1605), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2007 On draught at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore. My friend I was with ordered an Anchor Steam and I ordered this. I wasnt that drunk at the time, but when both beers were poured and handed to us by the bartender, I still couldnt tell which was which until I tasted them both. That being said, this didnt really stand out as an abbey dubbel. It was easy drinking and went down smooth with the pulled pork nachos I consumed while drinking it, but the complexity was seriously lacking. No hint of any belgian yeast which is strange. Mildly dissapointing. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
