In aroma, a nice pinhey hops aroma with a bit of funk, pungeant. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt with citrusy notes, resinous and classy. On tap at brewpub, August 21 2009. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 28, 2007 Has a nice hop aroma but isn’t too strong. Not strong in the flavor either, but simple and nice. Nothing that really brings it down in flavor either. Good stuff. GG (1678), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 27, 2007 I asked the guy who serves up the beer if he knew much abou their IPA. He said sure, it’s my favorite. I asked him if they dry hop their beers and they said they done. Which would explain to my why there was basically zero aroma on this beer. An IPA without hop aroma?? Ayecaramba. An appearance of light gold, clear with a one-finger head. Aroma of light malts. Flavor of piney hops, caramel malts and little else. I asked the guy if they use anything other than Cascade hops and nope. There’s something to be said for mixing it up a bit! GeneralGao (3076), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange color. Head was white and left a bit of lace on the glass. The light malt caramel aroma was stronger than the weak flowery hops I smelled. Flavor was similarly lacking. No pine resin or grapefruit, and only modest hop bitterness. Tasted like some of the IPA’s I tried in England. Maybe that’s what they were shooting for? It certainly didn’t stand up to what you’d expect from a Left Coast IPA. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 12, 2006 Wasn’t very impressed by this IPA. Sure, it had the bitterness, and it had the hoppy aroma, and it even had a bit of malt too. But it just wasn’t doing it for me. The recipe just didn’t have the right chemistry. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
