| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-amber body with a half inch of evanescing, whitish foam.
Smell: Sweetish nose of grains and light caramel marked with some spicy, citrusy hop notes.
Taste: Blend of dry caramel and toffee with a flavor of steeped, soaked grains. Citrusy, lightly spicy hops provide a medium amount of balancing bitterness. Then, it’s back to the toffee-esque malt, though the flavor and body starts to recede at this point, but in no way does it approach being watery. Short, dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A generally okay, comfortably average pale ale. Sure, you could do worse, but you could also do far, far better in terms of pale ales. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2008 i had this beer 2 years ago, and liked it. the only negative is that its made by lionshead, so you feel a little WT drinking it, but it tastes good... also, i got the best beer buzz off of it, and thats worth something in my book. hence the 15 on overall impression! | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2008 Soft, fruity (almost perfumed) scents that curb in the nostrils... pleasant but not pretentious... slightly effervescent... transparent orange body with a pencil-thin white head... light, slightly hoppy (sudsy?)--subdued and smooth taste... soft, slightly bubbly like champagne on the back of the mouth--generally nondescript but highly drinkable... a nice, sensible pale ale--and this review is tempered by the pricetag at Bottle King--$3.98 with a club card presented... quite a liquid asset in these economically heightened times...
