DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 13, 2004 Pours gold with medium white head. Aromas of hops and malt. Finishes with hops, mild dryness, and mild citrus. Not bad. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA Mar 11, 2003 Golden body, small white head receding quickly to nearly nothing, malt and a mild spiciness in the nose. Slight spiciness in the flavor, with some evident off-flavors. Not much bitterness. Pretty weak. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jan 11, 2003 I dont drink many pilseners, but this is the best one ive had. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA Oct 3, 2002 The pale golden color is topped with a medium thick white head. The hoppy aroma is slightly sour and bitter with malt undertones. The flavor is well balanced, slightly sweet with a dry hoppy finish. Overall a pretty good pilsner. Drew (2406), Kent, Ohio, USA Aug 21, 2002 Bought their Pocono Sampler 12pack (available by the case only....) This is misleadingly labelled "Pocono Light" with "traditional pilsener" in small letters - very odd, if you ask me. This was not as watery and light as I had feared. It actually had a little bit of hop flavor along with a sweet, yet thin, malt body. A bit weak, but could quench your thirst in a pinch jayme9874 (756), Hamburg, New York, USA Mar 17, 2002 Clear, almost golden, thin head that dies. Very non-assertive nose with some sweet like malt evident. Palate has some nice fruit/malt flavors but they give away to that artifical ’filler’ taste. Carbonation is perfect but in the end, reminds me of saranac pils. Not bad for 88 cents:-) russ71cj5 (40), Rhode Island, USA Oct 8, 2001 Cheap, tasty... but mostly cheap... only 4 bucks a 6..... I’m not a big fan of beers that look like urine ;-) PhillyBeer2112 (2084), Orange Park, Florida, USA Sep 26, 2000 A very tasty beer - but not a convincing
pilsner. It seemed to have some traits
of a Helles. Nice noble hop aroma, and
very well-balanced flavor. Medium bodied
and very smooth. Yellowish color - not golden.
