Commercial Description:
Initially brewed for the Brewery Pub & Grill 10th Anniversary, this beer's name signifies where it stands on a scale of one-to-ten. A robust American-Style Brown Ale with a strong Hop character. The Simcoe hop, a new American hop variety gives this beer its huge hop flavor and pleasant aroma. A new type of malt called Carawheat gives the beer its creamy head and malty sweet finish The beer is brewed with Pale, Carawheat, Caramunich, Aromatic, Chocolate and Black malts, and Simcoe and Centennial hops.

Sample at Autumn Festival of Ales - Mildly hoppy nose, malt palate, some depth in flavor. Slow to catch my interest, but finished well.

(draft @ 2006 Autumn Festival of Ales - Honeoye Falls, NY) Dark brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some caramel and chocolate. Very sweet and malty flavor with a nice and balanced finish. Aftertaste is sweet and kind of nutty. Good malts as well. Really nice if it had a little more body to it.
