Commercial Description:
This dark creamy brew is a salute to our Celtic brethren across the Atlantic divide. Rich roasted barley, chocolate malt and other ingredients give this beer a dry, roasty bite and great flavor that you won't find anywhere else while your on vacation in Whistler!

(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a deep brown body with a thin, creamy beige head. Nose of wood and sour milk. Flavour is nutty and ripe with some pine. Better than their main line of beers but I’d not want to be drinking this all night. 6/4/7/3/13

Dark chestnut brown pour, with a lively brown head that takes a few minutes to settle because of the nitro. Low aroma of bitter chocolate and coffee. Creamy smooth nitro palate of woody charred roast, bitter chocolate, and coffee. The finish is rather short with low bitterness. I think this would deliver more impact and character if they got rid of the nitro. I realize that the Dirty Miner Stout is rated as a nitro stout also, but I’m pretty sure the taphandle that this was pulled from read Black Diamond....

Wood smoke, caramel and forest on the nose. Smells inviting. Will it be an over-sugared microbrew disaster? Not entirely! Delicious. Freshly roasted cashews and hazelnuts. Hot-off-the-stove barley wraps the mouth. Finish is heaven with 70% belgian dark chocolate that hits hard and fades fast leaving you wanting another pint! Well done!
