Deep blond color. This Heller Bock has a lean body, but a respectable malt flavor. Not exciting, but quite nice.

Jun 16, 2008 According to the bartender, this beer’s ABV is currently 6.1%. Bright clear light amber colour with a scanty white head. Toffee and pear aroma. Clean toffee malt, sweet, with a fruity note and a faint metallic quality in the finish that took a little getting used to. Not bad.

Jan 26, 2006 Dark amber colour. Fairly sweet with hints of molasses. Weird body - syrupy but thin. Kind of nutty. Flavours are rather vague.

Jan 24, 2006 Light amber colour, thin white head. Light fruity sweet aroma. No fusels. Light apple, slight perfumy character. It’s sweet, but not malty. Too many esters and not enough malt. Oh well, it could have been a lot worse.
