harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 6, 2008 On tap at EBF 08. Gold, thin white head. That is a pretty good golden ale. Grassy hop aroma. It’s got decent hopp on the finish. OK golden ale. Maria (4361), Thisted, Denmark Oct 5, 2008 EBF2008. It’s a yellow-golden beer and the aroma has notes of malt, caramel and aromatic hops. The flavour has sweetness, notes of caramel, flower, citrus, honey and the balance is nice. The elderflowers aren’t a very clear note. It ends on a rather dry note. JorisPPattyn (4499), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 19, 2008 Updated: Sep 30, 2008 Draught Pale amber with huge off-white head, leaving shards of lace. Very fine, hoppy nose, especially UK hops - dry hopped? Original mandarine peel flavour, but soft, overlying some good malts, without becoming too IPA-ish. Warming up, it becomes quite sweet. Refreshing, if a bit light MF, at first, nowhere empty. Not a bad APA by half. Nice beers in this brewpub, the more sorry for the lousy service. cgarvieuk (2525), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 19, 2008 Draught at brewpub ... Pale yellow... fruity hop touch lagery nose ... light fruit ... pale malts light hop. Beer_2000 (1269), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 17, 2008 On tap @ the brewpub. Amber body with thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, and a citrus fruity nose. Flavor is slightly sweet malt, citrus fruit, a bit floral and a nice bitter finish. This is quaffable, refreshing, light bodied, balanced bitter – what a nice beer just made for the hot summer days! Well done.
