Mar 19, 2008 Draught. Very short brown and quickly disappearing head. Very dark almost black body. Carmel cocoa aroma. Relatively bitter cocoa caramel flavor heavily carbonated but unfortunately with a short aftertaste.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, lemon, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Feb 10, 2008 Hazy dark amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with discrete roasted malt and chocolate notes. Same goes for the flavor that ends slightly bitter.

Feb 9, 2008 Updated: Feb 11, 2008Draught @ Brewpub. Cloudy dark amber color with a creamy off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Aroma of light grain, maybe star aniseed, coriander, hint of bread and fruit and some toasted malt. Over the palate I picked up a hint of liquorish and chocolate like aroma. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of acidic and bitterness. Light sour and sweet malty finish. More like a Belgian Brune!
