Dec 12, 2005 Draught. Roasted coffee aroma. Black colour. Small, creamy dark brown head. Roast coffee flavour and aftertaste. OK mouthfeel, even though the carbonation is a bit high.

Dec 1, 2005 On tap at the Brewpub. Black colour with a great head. Total dominated of liquorice with notes of smoke. Also licuorice flavour with hints of coffee. Little bitter finish, very great tasty ale.

Black color. Nice aroma of roasted malt, some dark chocolate. Dry mouthfeel, harsh, caramel and strong liquorice taste.

Oct 13, 2005 Chocolate, biscuity, lightly roasty malt aroma. Opaque black body with strong, fine bubbled, dense, tan head that lasts well and coats the glass. Chocolate and roasty malts with liquorice undertones in the flavour. Somewhat mineral feeling. Roasty finishing bitterness lasts on the tongue. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Deep coffee roastyness with a light sweetness on top.
Lovely smooth mouthfeel.
A bit sticky milk chocolate aftertaste.
Quite nourishing beer - your palate is exhausted after one.

Oct 6, 2005 Black with a small creamy offwhite head. Coffee and cocoa aroma, salty, roasted and with some chocolate. Maybe a bit smoky as well. Salty tar flavor, coffee and with a bitter finish.
