| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 11, 2008 The porter pours a deep brown with dark reddish hues and a light creamy latté-colored foam. In the nose, chocolate, biscuit, coffee and licorice come forth. Sweet and full, with earthy, dark fruit undertones and a elegant herbal note. In the mouth, the sweet malt and chocolate flavors make the initial impression. It moves with soft carbonation and a silky mouth feel. Transitioning to more roasted notes and ending in a balancing dryness as chocolate and coffee flavors lingers. screwball (796), Motala, Sweden

The color of the beer is dark brown with a beige/light brown colored head. Smells of roasted malt, liquorice, chocolate. The taste is roasted and a bit sweet with notes of coffee, chocolate, and liquorice. Nice medium bitter finish. I really liked this one, but they served it to cold.
