Bottle. Large creamy light brown head with a fair lacing. Flat and cloudy body. Deep black colour. Great aroma of chocolate, coffee, burnt malt, smoke and leather. Full body with a thin/watery texture, soft carbonation and bitter finish. Heavy sweet and medium flavor in good balance. Easy to drink.

[Draught @ BrewPub] Black with tiny beige head. Burned malt hits the nose. I find liquerice and coffe in there as well. Sweet flavor with burned malt, coffe and liquerice. Grainy and bready. Ends bitter.

The porter pours a deep brown with dark reddish hues and a light creamy latté-colored foam. In the nose, chocolate, biscuit, coffee and licorice come forth. Sweet and full, with earthy, dark fruit undertones and a elegant herbal note. In the mouth, the sweet malt and chocolate flavors make the initial impression. It moves with soft carbonation and a silky mouth feel. Transitioning to more roasted notes and ending in a balancing dryness as chocolate and coffee flavors lingers.

Bottle. Black. Begie head. Aroma is smooth and pleasent. Has some hay, coffee and tar. Also some sweet burnt malt. Flavor is burnt malt, coffee, chocolat and the palate is easy. Not so heavy and explosive as expected. Quite complex anyway.

Cask at Brewpub Copenhagen. The color of the beer is dark brown with a beige/light brown colored head. Smells of roasted malt, liquorice, chocolate. The taste is roasted and a bit sweet with notes of coffee, chocolate, and liquorice. Nice medium bitter finish. I really liked this one, but they served it to cold.
