Creamy, roasty aroma with notes of vanilla. Well roasted and well balanced flavour, very drinkable. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden May 28, 2006 Pitch black with a tan head. Sugary, malty, chocolatey aroma with some roastyness. Sweet, fruity flavour with notes of coffee and chocolate. A little citric hoppiness is present in finish. Gusgus (176), Mölndal, Sweden May 26, 2006 Draught. Very nice one. Biscuity and chocolatey. A good example of a traditional London Porter. Slightly spicy, and chocolatey taste. Perhaps a bit weak in the end. Not much aftertaste. PetetheMeat (546), Hove, Denmark May 9, 2006 Draugth: Black, tall beige head. Burned/roasted malt in the aroma aling with some fresh, fruity notes. More roasted malts in the flavour. Coffee (espresso). A touch of Oak? Somewhat watery palate. Very drinkable. duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England May 3, 2006 Tap@Brewpub København. Roasted, lightly acidic aroma. Palate shows the characters from the aroma (roasty/acidic). Feels slightly thin and the flavour ends quite quickly. Burnt, mocha and licorice flavours seem to be the most dominant. chriso (4667), London, Greater London, England Feb 28, 2006 On tap at the Brewpub. Very dark, almost black colour. Majors on burnt, roasty malt with hints of coffee. Easy drinking. Not the most assertive porter but perfectly pleasant. Like the other beers I tried at the brewpub, solid but unspectacular.
FrankJohansen (3329), Sabro, Denmark Feb 5, 2006 Black colour with a light brown head. Aroma of coffee and toffee. Nice long lasting taste. good palate
