Comments: Rather thin example, strongly coffeeish. Bready, ashey porter.

Tap@Brewpub København. Roasted, lightly acidic aroma. Palate shows the characters from the aroma (roasty/acidic). Feels slightly thin and the flavour ends quite quickly. Burnt, mocha and licorice flavours seem to be the most dominant.

Draught @ the brewpub.: Pitch black coloured. Deep brown dense head. This is a quite full bodied beer. Aroma is sweet, chocolatish with a light roasty note underneath. .Flavour is quite floral and sweet. Roast, chocolate, liqourice and light coffee is fighting for space on the palate. Ends on a balanced sweet roastiness, thats quite delicious. Really good one.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a black beer with a fingerthick, beige to tan head. Roasted, slightly peaty nose with coffee. The flavor is roasted and peaty with coffee and licorice, a little dark chocolate and some sour malt. Medium to full body, smooth and dry in the mouth. The finish is dry and roasted with a nice touch of fruity hops. I think I would like more hops evident in this one, but it’s a really nice one. (090518)

On tap at the Brewpub. Very dark, almost black colour. Majors on burnt, roasty malt with hints of coffee. Easy drinking. Not the most assertive porter but perfectly pleasant. Like the other beers I tried at the brewpub, solid but unspectacular.
