Guinness on cask appearance - thick creamy tan head on an almost black body. Sweet chocolaty aroma with a mild roasted tone and a good balance. Rather weak though. Roasted and chocolaty flavor with a sourish edge (like Guinness) and tones of liquorice. Soft and smooth with a sweet candied touch. Extremely drinkable and well balanced and the best (and only flawless) from Brewpub København! kramer (2510), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2008 50 cl bottle, via papsoe. Pours a dark brown body with a small tight bubbled light brown head. Nice lacing remained. The nose is pretty unique, there’s some tobacco, licorice, and maybe a touch of oxidation that accompanies the usual characters of roast and coffee. The flavor is much thinner than I’d like, there’s a watery quality to it that carries thru in all aspects. Fairly dry, with lots of roasted malt and to a lesser extent chocolate up front. Fades to a coffee and light licorice laced finish. The finish is rather short, reinforcing the watery quality of it. Overall, this was certainly drinkable, but this could us to be a little more beefed up. Bragesnak (2281), Aarhus, Denmark

Black coloured. Aroma is rodden peaches. Loads of coffee in the flavour. A strange porter, with some acidic notes. Miksu (2234), Jyväskylä, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Black color with thick creamy head. Roasty aroma with coffee and charcoal. Fairly drying roastiness in the flavor with charcoal, coffee and dark fruits. More malty backbone would make this better, now this is very straighforwardly roasty. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/denmark/ target=blank>BrewPub København in Copenhagen, Denmark. Near black in colour, long lasting tan coloured head, nice lacing. The aroma is of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and espresso, some licorice. The flavour is of deep roast, dark chocolate and coffee, very sweet. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, sweet first then a coffee roast. Not to bad but again I feel this is lacking something.
