| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. It’s a black beer with a fingerthick, beige to tan head. Roasted, slightly peaty nose with coffee. The flavor is roasted and peaty with coffee and licorice, a little dark chocolate and some sour malt. Medium to full body, smooth and dry in the mouth. The finish is dry and roasted with a nice touch of fruity hops. I think I would like more hops evident in this one, but it’s a really nice one. (090518) beermouth (435), Langeskov, Denmark

In the nose, chocolate, biscuit, coffee and licorice come forth. Sweet and full, with earthy, dark fruit undertones and a elegant herbal note. In the mouth, the sweet malt and chocolate flavors make the initial impression. It moves with soft carbonation and a silky mouth feel. Transitioning to more roasted notes and ending in a balancing dryness as chocolate and coffee flavors lingers. sfhodense (577), Odense NØ, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2008 Flaske.
