Nice coffee, chocolate and liquorice ice-cream on the nose. Burned malty flavor, dry coffee, herbal hops. Mouthfeel is a bit too thin. Simple, but enjoyable porter. trapez (808), Hilleroed, Denmark

Dark brown colour with light broiwn head. soft, mild dark chocolate in taste, whivh makes this beer more drinkable than most porters. Yu’re not completely dried up after a single sip. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2006 (Draught @ Brewpub) Black with a creamy head. Creamy, roasty aroma with notes of vanilla. Well roasted and well balanced flavour, very drinkable. LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2005 By far the most interesting of the four brews I sampled. Almost black colour but the head obviously couldn’t match the draft Double Chocolate Stout. Initial flavour is quite acidic followed by lots of new flavours: (Milk) chocolate, coffee etc. Unfortunately, I didn’t really like the distinct acidity in the aroma. sayravai (3733), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2008 (Bottled) Very dark brown with a medium, creamy-lacy head. Slight milky sourness in the aroma with sweetish malt and roastiness. Nicely roasty, milky-sour, not burned flavor with mild bitterness, and a dry finish. Almost medium body with smooth carbonation. A balanced and enjoyable stout with pleasantly low ABV. Jukkabro (3023), Tampere, Finland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Near black colored with brown hints, little beige head. Biting aroma with hops and licorice, surprisingly hopped porter. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with fine roastiness and chocolate, aftertaste lasts still with hops. Weird, but good porter. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2005 (On tap) Completely black beer with a handsome, creamy brown head. Lovely aroma of burned malt. A distinct taste of burned malt, but still the beer appears rather light-bodied and only moderately bitter. Some underlying weak notes of licorice and coffee. Porter may never be my favourite style, but this beer really stands out as a characterfull brew and perhaps the best from Brewpub so far. 220805
