Pours copper color with slight haze and a creamy beige head that leaves lots of lace. Earthy herbal hop aromas, overripe summer fruits, nicely balanced with light floral notes. Rich biscuity malts, crisp floral hops with a bit of citrus peel, toffee and grass, but slightly muddy overall. Smooth and full on the tongue, with spritely tingly carbonation.

Copper color with a small beige foam that disappeared quickly. Aroma of malt, nuts, citrus and some weak hints of smoke.
The taste was nothing special, not so fresh in terms of citrus and tropical fruits that I had hoped for. Clearly this was a British IPA. The bitterness was mild, also some yeast in the taste. A lot of nuts inte aftertaste. A bit watery and boring. deyholla (707), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Aroma had pine and citrus hops with a sweet earthy undertone. Flavor was similar to that of the aroma with quite a bitter finish. fiulijn (7200), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2008 Small white head. Copper body with light carbonation. Strong aroma of tropical fruit, honey, and resin, all from the hops, I suspect. Clear, clean, and harmonic. Sweet, deep fruity earthy malt taste with honeyish resiny notes as well as some wood and perhaps a little alcohol. Chalky pea notes. Bitter dandelion and fruit aftertaste. Excellent! (0.1l draft at the brewpub.)
