berkshire_john (1102), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Jun 18, 2008 Cask at the Brunswick Inn, Derby. Amber with a thin cream head; fruity aroma; lots of sweet malt flavour with a hint of orange; gentle bitter finish. Rather nondescript overall.
Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Jun 20, 2008 (Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 25 April 2008) Mahogany colour with brief, off-white head. Malty nose with dark fruit and chocolate. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dark fruit and prunes. Fairly sweet, but still a nice beer. maeib (4000), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jun 9, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Wellington, Birmingham. An amber coloured beer with a red hue. A very fruity beer with a chewy full body. Very malty and pretty decent, if a little heavy.
