A great year round ale with a light fruity flavour and blueberry aroma.

Looks exactly like the Raspberry but with a blueberry! Big blueberry aroma (no surprise). Taste of blueberry is present as well as a decent match of hops. Not bad, but nothing spectacular.

It’s the regular Wheat beer served with a bunch of blueberries tossed into the glass. What a waste. It’s like bubble tea in beer form. A totally stupid idea...except from the fact that i know the beer has not been made with some artificial blueberry syrup or something, so that’s cool...and I like blueberries plus they have those antioxydants that one so desperately needs to kill off free radicals.......

Clear copper in color with a small white cap that is lasting a long while, a handful of fresh blueberries was through into the pint by the bartender and are floating and sinking constantly being pushed around by the most carbonation I’ve ever seen in a beer. Aroma is very simple blue berry jam with not a single hint of beer and it’s not overly sweet. Simple tasting as well liquid bread combined with blueberry jam and like the smell it’s not overly sweet like a lot of other fruit beers. I liked this beer it had flavor feel was a touch to thin for me but it’s very drinkable and not over the top sweet but I do wish it had more of a malty taste it was just lacking something.

Clear golden coloured body with a nice white head served with a single blueberry in the glass. Nice blueberry scent with some wheat & yeast also. Medium-bodied; Bitter malt with some filtered wheat and a metallic flavour soon noticeable. Afteraste shows blueberry of course and more bitterness - not sure from what. Overall, a nice start (this was the first of the beers from the brewpub), but way too bitter. I sampled this beer served on draught at the Brewpub in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Northwest City Centre location) on 28-December-2008.

Draught at the brewpub, Oliver Square location, as Blackfoot Blueberry Wheat Ale
Pale blond color, for the joy of the girls it’s served with a blueberry in the glass. It doesn’t have any special aroma. The flavor is very simple, yet with a soft mouthfeel. Quite surprisingly in the final I have the impression of feeling the blueberry. No wheat. Simple.

[807-20071102] Tap @ Brewsters (Calgary, AB). Smells like blueberry pie and cream. Slightly hazy, light brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Blueberry juice flavour hides the alcohol. Light-medium body. A little soap-like but interesting. (Hoppy Bday SP! ;) )
