Commercial Description:
This year's Christmas specialty is a Belgian Wit beer. It is brewed true to the Belgian style with a portion of unmalted wheat, bitter Curacao and sweet orange peel and coriander. To give it a more festive note the brewmaster has added a small amount of cardamon. The beer has been fermented with the Belgian specialty yeast: Forbidden Fruit.

I am waking up to freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of coriander. I take a sip,mmmmm.... gingery orange juice for sure, but did someone put cinammon in there as well? Dry gingery finish. The perfect Christmas morning beer.

Cloudy dark yellow. Thin head but a lasting skiff of foam. Served very cold. Nice aroma of spice, banana and a trace of orange. Spices tend to blend in to the beer. Nice and refreshing but a little thin and subdued. As it warms the cardamon provides a bit of a spice burn on the tongue.
