Had on tap at the brewpubt in WPB. I wasn’t impressed with their selection or many of the beers.

tap. Copper color, bright and twinkling. Aroma of Munich Malts, some crystal. flavor of sweet grains, some bread, followed by a hop bitterness. Very balanced. I think this is the one I’d drink if I were a regular. 22 Nov 08 . 5,4,8,4,13

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is light colored malts, mild graininess and some floral hops. The taste is a mouth full of mildly roasty malts then more malt sweetness before hints of floral hops surface. It ends with a bit of roasty malts and grain.

Tap at the restaurant. Light amber pour. This has an interesting malt and hop nose wtih some very light hints of vanilla and toffee. Flavor is a bit ruddy. Malts and hops seem to get in the way of each other instead of working together. Oh well.

Golden-amber colour. Slight haze. toasty, cookie-ish aroma. Light body and vaguely toasty character. Disappears quickly.

Draught at Boca Brewzzi. Amber color, leaves some lacing. Aromas and flavors both laden with diacetyl, yeast, and sweet coppery malts. Slimy low carbonation palate. Past its prime or never had one.

On tap into a pint glass at the Boca Raton location, listed as "CityFest". Poured a sparkling clear light copper colored brew with a thin white head that remains for most of the session. Citrus and hops dominate the nose with some malts. More of the same on the palate; citrus, hops and some malt. Hops finish the beer and remain in the aftertaste. I didn’t pick any alcohol up on this one. A light crisp beer with moderate carbonation, good hot Florida summers. The bitterness works as a quencher and the low ABV makes this appropriate for sessions.

Pours light amber color with a medium off white head. Smells is pretty bland. Light maltiness and sweet grains but thats about it. The flavor had a little more going on. There was some definite sweet malty caramel and even vanilla in there with a touch of some nuts as well. tastes like a simple marzen. This style doesnt excite me in the least bit, but this was drinkable. Somewhat watery finish took a little away from it though.
