On tap at the Florida Brewers Guild BeerFest 2009. Pours a hazy brown copper with an off white head. It has a very nice aroma with sticky chewy malts and thick resiny pine hops. A long draw brings up even pine hop bitterness and faint grapefruit for as long as you want to keep pulling it in. The taste seems to start off neutral and then becomes malty sweet for a moment or two before full pine hop flavor flows into pine hop bitterness to midway. The finish has fading notes where a brief moment of faint grapefruit join the pine hops as the experience comes to closure.

Tap at FBGF. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma has a good floral hops nose and pine, with some fruits. Tate, of fruity hops, notes of grapefruits/citrus finish of bitter hops that remains very enjoyable with the right balance between the sweet and bitter.

Cloudy amber. Nice fruity hop aroma - pineapple, guava, pear. Bitter, rooty body with refreshing fruitiness. Nice balance. Good malt background that stays in the background.

Sample at Jupiter fest. Cloudy orange with a cask-looking head. Mild fruity aroma and a strong hop presence in evergreen and citrus forms. Low carbonation. A bit syrupy. Tannic finish. Astringent but has a syrupy hop body. Hardly any malt. Is a good slam of hops but lacks both balance and character.

Tap @ Jupiter Beerfest. Moderate caramel for the malt, light orange for the hops and a note of cardboard. Head is white, with strange looking big bubbles (like dish soap bubbles), no lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy orange/tan. Flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. It finishes dry. A very offensive aspect in this beer detracted from all it’s other attributes.

Pleasant hop boquet. Bitter, cereal, some fruitiness, but thin palate. Not impressive, but drinkable.

The aroma is nice and hoppy with a decent amount of malt to balance. The appearance is typical for the style. The flavor is nice and very similar to the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s good.

Draft @ the Boca location. Very hazy, as in can’t see through the other side of the glass, dark amber with a small off-white head. Nice grapefruit and orang dry hop aroma. Some earthy notes present as well. Sweet malt makes itself known below. Large piney and grapefruit pith flavors that run the full length of the beer. Caramel malty sweetness is mostly hidden until the end. There was a moderate hop bitterness from the midle to the finish. Pretty tasty. Medium bodied and no alcohol noticable in the flavor or aroma.
