Good beer. It was very hopy, I would have thought it was an IPA, but either way it was very good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of light citrus and bitter hops. Flavor is dominated by the bitter hops with no real malt backbone. Definitely an IPA, not an APA. But in any case, not one I’ll be revisiting, like, ever.

On tap at the brewpub. Aroma of some malt but mostly floral-ish hops. Flavor just a barrel of bitter hops and water. Yuck.

My notes for the night about this one simply read ’HOPS!’ I never write exclamation points. This beer smells and tastes of hops. It even kind of looks and feels like you would expect hops to. Everything about this beer is hops, which can make it a little overpowering. If you are going to be at the Brick House save this for the end of your night of tasting because its flavor will stay with you for a while.
