Commercial Description:
Brick Lager Yellow Label is an easy drinking refreshing lager, aimed at beer drinkers who prefer a Canadian styled beer, but brewed in craft tradition. It is a blonde beer with a pleasant aroma, but less of a hoppy flavour.

341 mL bottle: Fizzy, thin, no malts, almost no hops, and no real flavour. Now remind me, why am I drinking this? Awful swill. Avoid. Way better pale lagers out there to drink that have body & flavour.

bottle. thanks Len. clear fizzy golden-yellow body with a small fizzy white head. putrid aroma of sweet corn and grain but it’s difficult to get past the corn. high carbonation with pretty much no admirable flavour. lots of corn and grain in a watery body. poorly made.

Clear glass bottle. Colour is murky yellow. Citus taste, I find the alcohol taste barely noticable. A good breakfast beer.

Bottle sample, 341 ml, from the LCBO. Pale blond with immediate fizz akin to the head on any number of sodas. Depleted in 3 seconds flat. Sweet corn is the precursor to hay and grains. Slight boozey/Iodine aromas as well. Metallic flavours offset any decency brought about by the very little hops that are present. Corn/Maize flavours dominate the finish. Fizzy on the palate, with 4.9% ABV being noticable. It might be brewed "in the craft tradition" like the description says, but it’s too fizzy and unbalanced to be taken too seriously.

Terrible aroma: skung galore. Not a good beer at all. Pours light golden colour. Head is almost absent. Not even good with pizza. Skip this one.

Bottle (341ml - clear). Why do I do this to myself? - oh yeah, ratings. Poured light gold with a bright white foamy head. Aroma - surprise - skunk, sour corn, adjunts, liquid invert sugar. Tastes metallic, stale grain, cardboard, cheap alcohol. Mouthfeel lightly fizzy, metallic and watery. Not a good beer (duh).

Plastic bottle from The Beer Store. Beer is thin, yellow with a small short-lived white head. Very bubbley. Aroma is macroish with the faint malt smells mixed with metallic & fruity notes. Taste is bland with thats fruitiness. Finish is a bit dry and sort of sickening. I guess this beer would do in a pinch.

12oz clear bottle. Light yellow colour. Very thin bubbly head. Sweet malt and metallic aroma. Fizzy carbonated mouth feel. Not much for flavour at all. Metalic sweet finish. Like a soda water and Pale Lager cross.
