Pale yellow with a white head. Gain, adjuncts crud and filth with some lime (?) Bud Lite (sp) has to be more flavourful ... maybe this a more natural flavour ? I think I might be able to pass this off on some other folks... what is next ??? Old Milwaulkee Lime ???

Muddle lime and sprite like character in the aroma. Flavour is similar, lime over lemon lime soda, sweetish, citrus sourness in the finish. Average to light palate. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Bottle from Greg Clow. Thanks. Pours a very light gold w. a glowing white fluffy head. Nose is somewhere between lemon-lime soda & an extremely effervescent gin & tonic. Also a bit reminiscent of those lemon lime Emergen-C vitamin drink packets. Anyhow, Flavor is a bit of malt but mostly catty lemon lime soda. If sprite/sierra mist was really thick & could get skunked you’d have something along these lines. A bit more malt in the finish but blech. XtraStout (46), Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Much better than the big name competition. You know what I’m talking about.
Not going to bother with a fancy review here. The difference between this and BLL, this tastes like beer with some lime instead of a lime-ade beverage.
Kinda yummy, wouldn’t dink too often. mmacleod75 (38), Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Poured straw colour, with a ’fizzy’ head. I’ve had Red Baron several times, and for a ’value beer’, I actually don’t mind it. My first time trying their ’lime’. Not a favourite, but I think better than Bud Light Lime. Not quite as ’limey’. Price was right. Strangebrewer (221), Chatham, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 19, 2009 bottle. Poured very pale clear yellow with thin receding white head. Lime candy aroma. High carbonation, light watery mouthfeel. Sweet grainy with a hint of lime. Slightly dry finish with a bite. Better than BL Lime but not better than Miller chill, but for the price of this stuff there’s no reason to drink the competition. Still a weak attempt at a "fruit" beer. | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 12, 2009 341mL bottle thanks to matt7215, thanks Matt because I wouldn’t pay money for this even if the proceeds went to feeding starving orphans. Poured what looked way too much like apple juice, super quick fading white head. Very fizzy, smells like lime surprisingly, and very faint cereal grains. Based on the almost okay aroma I thought this was going to be at least drinkable but I was a fool for thinking so. Flavour is so obnoxiously fizzy it was almost painful to drink, the citrusy bite in the finish was really unpleasant. It’s better than BL Lime, but that’s like saying getting punched in the balls is better than getting shot in the face. I’d like to say I at least had fun rating this, but I didn’t because I’m actually enraged by the popularity of lime beers. Much like the Brick itself, pathetic. But thanks again for the bottle Matt.
