Oct 8, 2007 Bottle bought in Glasgow. A fine whisky tone, but that’s about the only thing going for it. Yeasty, sweet and unbalanced. A fancy bottle with a seal and everything was a bit of a waste on this beer.

Jul 4, 2007 Cask at Jyske Øldage in Horsens, 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices, reminding me of a Belgian beer.

Jun 16, 2007 Updated: Apr 7, 2008STBF07. Aroma is nutty, appley sweetness, hints of sweet alcohol. Taste has no whiskey, sweet, nutty, dry, no finish here at all apart from a dry alcohol burn. RERATE: Cask in the crystal palace. I gave this a 0.5 however the previous score was 2 so balancing it out. Aroma is nutty, sour and ethanol. Taste is similar the sour malt and nuttysweetness are possibly the most off putting flavours iv ever had in beer. Whiskey in the finiosh just comepletly finishes you off, i nearly spat it out. Utterly disgusting stuff, this is thee worst beer iv ever tasted ever ever ever.

Jun 1, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber with a thin white head. Pours very bubbly. Aroma is malty, lots of whisky. Flavour is whisky at first, then develops into chocolate and then very nutty. Too nutty, rich caramel and strong for my liking. Strength isn’t really disguised, and leads to something one-dimensional, unfortunately.

May 10, 2007 Golden with a white head. Big perfumed aroma, somewhat tripel-like, with some fruit. Sweet and boring flavour.

Jan 1, 2007 This nice bottle has a solid plastic cover on the neck, which makes it impossible to open, unless you also have a knife. I’m not a whisky fan, (became so sick after drinking it at an early age) so I was pretty sure, that I wouldn’t like this one either. The color is warm amber and the head is minimal. The whisky is very clear in both aroma and flavour, so it’s time in the whisky barrel has given it the wanted effect. I also get notes of caramel, a bit of hops and smoke. I’m sure there will be a lot of others, that will like this one - but not me...
