Taste is dark ale with sweet finish. Doppelganger (1199), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Mar 26, 2007 Gravity, Banbury Beer Festival. Deep black, just a bit of brown highlights around the edges. Dark tan head. Treacle and Cheerio® aroma, a touch of old laundry. Soft muddy dark flavors, fairly sweet. Some substance to the palate, but dull and lifeless.
