STBF07. Aroma is lacking, but coffee and chocolate are evident, but then theres a lactic acid baby sickness in it too. Taste is similar, thin chocolate with some lactic acid that clearly shouldnt be there.

a deep Black coloured ale, with a roast malt light sweet maltyness a lovely stout. TK 2. Ed Beer fest ... deep solid black ... tiny smokey nose ... watery ... little roast ... quite sweet ... no real depth. down 4->3.5

Tasted at the brewery August 14. 2005. Dark brown, nice head and the aroma has coffee notes. The flavour has nice notes of coffee and caramel and is nicely balanced. The finish is lightly bitter and rather dry. Considering the only 3,2% there is a lot of flavour in this beer.

VEry nice, very dark, and the toasted grains flavor is very nice, although not very lasting. Bubbling head.
