Commercial Description:
Our roasted chocolate and pale malts shake hands creating mild caramel flavors. Brown is your new reason to love beer. Hops are added to create the perfect balance of sweetness to hopiness. Brown is back... and it's beautiful.

OK brown but not great. A bit thin and lager-like to be a true brown ale in anything but color (it is a nice looking beer).

From a 12 oz Bottle it poured a dark brown with a small, frothy, light brown, quickly diminishing head. Nose is light and mostly malt, nuts, caramel, toasted bread, with some hops. Mouthfeel smooth and flavor is an interesting combination of sweetness with a slightly bitter.finish. Easy to drink.

Bottle poured a clear brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of chocolate, carmel and a hint of toffee. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of chocolate, carmel and a hint of nuts with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

Pours a light brown with a nice, foamy head. Simple malt aromas. Taste is equivalently uninspiring, as is mouthfeel. A good beer that suffers in comparison to exceptional peers. Probably won’t buy any more of this.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium brown colored with a small, white, frothy, mostly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with light notes of husky toasted grain, trace caramel and shortbread; Hoppy with an herbal trace; Yeasty with light notes of sharp cheese, moderate dough.
The flavor is moderately acidic, lightly bitter, lightly sweet with a short, husky, lightly bitter finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Beyond basic and forgettable.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark brown. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (nuts, caramel, toasted bread), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Clearly made for carefree easy-drinking. A basic, cookie-cutter rendition. Nothing wrong, but nothing much of interest either.

Nice brown color with small head. Aroma of roasted malt, flavor much the same, except I picked up a light bourbon barrel hint, body was rather watery. Like most brown ales, I guess that is why I’m never a big fan of this style.

A pretty good brown. Very roasty and malty sweetness with light hops. Medium body. Not so much nutty as roasted stout character with more malt sweetness.
