Nov 5, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a nice pale copper hue with a white head and delicate lacing. A soft maltiness and mild floral hop aroma. Taste is nicely balanced. Biscuit, toffee, pale malt flavor along with the floral, piney hop notes. Clean, simple and flavorful.

Sep 13, 2009 Cask at the Bridgeport Brewery
Fruity, somewhat sour, with a peppery hop finish. Citrus and piney hop aroma. Not very flavorful, and the cask version lacks spunk and crispness.

Jul 15, 2009 Split 6 in Seattle. Frothy head on amber (plastic hotel cup). Malt scent. Flavour of pine, malt and mint. Pretty meaty backing. Hop and mint finish. Not super hoppy. Nice big malt, almost an amber. Not sure why I am picking up mint in this one.

Jul 7, 2009 Amber pour with too much malt on the nose and some orange. Flavor was all malt, no hop. The Coppertail was much better, but it’s now gone.

Apr 3, 2009 2009 Bottle - Pours copper with a small off white head...aroma is fresh grain, dry malt and slightly metallic...flavour is similar with a clean hop profile and a lingering cereal grain finish...I always liked this beer...nothing too special but consistently good...

Jan 18, 2009 Light amber pour with a barely there head. Very sweet aroma with a tiny bit of citrus present. Dry mouthfeel with a taste of malts and a tiny bit of hop flavoring. Not so high on this one.
