Light body with a dry watery finish. Light malt, pine, and faint hops for flavors though really not that interesting. Decent session for the most part. Though pretty watery overall. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Another Bridgeport bottle I’d downed declared that it is "bottle conditioned", while this does not, and there is definitely a difference in appearance. Bright, clear amber color, no haze, and an adequate head. Aromas of...? Huh, okay, nothing. No bitterness, some substance on the palate, but not much. Very soft and smooth, an ideal session ale, with nothing in the way of flavor to trouble the mind. Better drinking than a lager, but not for me. Some sweetness, nice taste. I’ve got to give it it’s due, but, again, clearly not for me.

Nose is hoppy and slightly sweet. Taste is crisp, hops are present and flavorful, but not especially powerfull. A slight citrus/lemon flavor comes out early in the taste. Finishes smooth and easy, slightly yeasty/doughy. A pleasant Pale Ale. Sickboy282 (1100), San Diego, California, USA
