Commercial Description:
Fiercely local, drawing on indigenous ingredients from the hop fields of the Willamette Valley and the barley fields of the high Northwest desert. This pale ale is round and soft on the palate, finishing crisply, to capture the flavor and spirit of the Pacific Northwest in every pint and bottle.

Bottle purchased at the Portland, OR Airport at a stored named Made in Oregon. Small ivory head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, fast rising carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was lightly hoppy and ditto for the flavor. Slightly tingly mouthfeel and medium body. Lacks character, one dimensional, extremely light on aroma and flavor, and just outright a boring beer IMO.

Pours a copper-amber color with minimal head and good lacings. Sightly crisp in flavor like a Pale Ale should be. I just found it a bit subdued on the hop end. Probably a good session P.A. Could be a good introduction to Pale Ale for a newbie.

1st Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/30/07 @ The Brewpub. Pours amber with a half finger bright white head. No nose. Sweet pale ale with a bit of malt and a bit of hops not terrible.

This may be my favorite american beer. Delicious, smooth, just a tiny bit creamy, nice finish

12oz bottle brownish amber with little head aroma is of malt but just has a slight of smell. flavor is pretty decent slighty malty with just the smallest hint of citrus at the end. not a very complex beer but an easy drinker.

pours a bit cloudy, amber in color with a small white head that dissipated quickly. smell is faint, hops, roasted malt, bit yeasty. taste is vary carbonated, not much here though, nothing that stands out and hits you in the face, balance of malts and hops, touch of citrus, bit skunky.

Had at GABF on 10/7/1999. Aroma is a mild hop scent. Color is an orange/brown with light carbonation and a thin head. Starts with a light body and a light malt flavor and a mild hop taste a very light bitterness. Its just not that good, I don’t think the flavors are balanced very well. I didn’t like it.
