Flavors range from bitter hops to roasted malt to grapefruit. There’s a touch of spice in the finish, but barely noticeable. Good beer. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Definitely light in flavor, it must be had cold. Overall there isn’t much in this beer, but the tinglyness it leaves on the tongue keeps it from being completely drab. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Bottled. Pours an amber color. Light, fizzy, watery, soda pop like aroma. Flavor is sweet and malty with a bit of a burnt caramel flavor.
Not that good. Drinkable. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2005 Bottle: Orangish amber, small off-white foamy head that falls quickly, fairly nice lacing, moderate carbonation.   Somewhat wet malt aroma, slightly sweet.   Flavor lacks any hop presense, seems to be all malt, sweeter than I remembered, with a touch of carboard and cereal.   Tiz smooth drinking, moderate body, finishes clean, but doesn’t capture that hop/malt balance.   Wheres the Hop?

Another typically mediocre offering from BridgePort Brewing, this pale ale has a grainy, sweet maltiness that is somewhat balanced by a light, resiny hoppiness. The beer finishes with an odd, earthy, twiggy aftertaste that is really turning me off. The nose is mostly malty, with just a hint of hops. Medium bodied, some substance on the palate, but it just kind of sits there. Light amber in color, very slightly hazy, topped by a small, off-white head that rapidly dissipates and leaves no lacing behind as proof it ever existed. Like most BridgePort beers, this is a run-of-the-mill micro, barely average for the style, and thus is entirely forgettable. Ernest (4502), Boulder, Colorado, USA
