I am not getting much aroma from this, just some malt and a little cinnamon and yeast. Flavors are hard to put a finger on as well. Yes, there are some citrus hops and caramel malts, perhaps a little orange, toffee and cinnamon. I do get toasted grains in the aftertaste. Everything is subtle though and nothing really sticks out. It does have high carbonation which is likely why it is hard to tell what the different flavors are. With that said, it is actually pretty tastey. Medium bodied and easy to drink. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA

Fairly dark red color, with a light brown head that holds fairly well. Nice rich flavor, malts are lighter while hops are nice and sharp and bitter, finishes with good banana yeast notes. Palate is lighter with good carbonation, not too watery fairly solid. Good solid seasonal, good drinking when it colder. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a nic e head. Aromas are dominated by spices, and a bit of maltiness.
The beer has a lot going on, with falvors of spices, malts, pine and abit of hoppy bitterness in the finish. It would rate even higher if there would be a bit more body to the beer. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA

Very English, very Fuller’s tasting but without the overpowering watery taste. Certainly worth trying, not quite as good as Avery’s Jubilation Adverse2Bitter (35), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

One hell on a nice little unassuming beer. Sweet hard candy small with some toasty aromas. Some cinnamon tp. The taste is equally as pleasant. No hint of bitterness. Present and short aftertaste. Nothing to complex going on here, but sometime you want that. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2006 Updated: Dec 28, 2007Pours deep dark amber mohogany w/ a full semi creamy froth. Aromas of candy necklace. Mediuml nectar w/ good carbonation. I can taste a protrusion of grapefruit that is quickly overwhelmed by a candy malt backbone. Flavors of spiced, ripe darkfruits show forward and are very balanced. Good piney extract reveals a sturdy yet mild hop component for structure. Finish has a moderate citrus rind bittering with lingering darkfruit extract. A good recommendation. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Bottle:Deep, brown color with a stiff off-white head. The aroma of rich, buttery malts wafts into your nose before you even bring the glass to your nose. You can also pick up hints of sweet spices and cherry vanilla pipe tobacco. The taste has a pretty full taste with a slightly bitter finish. This is kind of what I imagined beer in England to be like in some pub in London before I even drank beer. I really like this one. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Pours dark brown with tan head, that remains for most of the beer, good lace. Lots of caramel malt flavor, with a little sourness that seems out of place. without the sourness it would be much better.
