Not much aroma, not much flavor, but at least it’s not unplesant. More hoppy than malty, with a hint of spices. Mostly just a decent ale. NNCRed (17), Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2005 From 12 oz bottle. Dark amber color, but not a lot of action going on in it. Smells of spices and fruits and tastes the same, but sadly the amoma is stronger than the flavor. Decent beer, but not a great winter warmer. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2005 Pours a dark amber. Aromas of malt, caramel, fruit. Flavor is kinda sweet, fruity, mildly spicy, with a nice hop background. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2005 Bright golden-amber colour. Malty aroma with nutty, toffeeish notes. Somewhat thin body with light brown sugar notes and faint nutty, toffeeish nuances. A light and painless holiday beer. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2005 Pour is amber with a small ring of a tan head...smell is smokey and spicey and rum is very accurate...taste is weak...sweet and thin...disappointment... bu11zeye (5510), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2005 (Bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of mollasses, nuts, dark fruits, and I agree with Lumpy’s description "spicied rum". Flavor of sweet caramel malt, dark fruit, and spices. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2005 Bottle. Nose-smells EXACTLY like spiced rum. Taste-coffee, light alcohol;, light brown sugar, clove, very light coco baking powder, a little dried fruits. Not a great example of the style, IMO. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 4, 2005 Dark bown with a slight haze to the beer. Nutty with a strong Caramel flavor. Liiked the light hops but seemed to be lacking a winter flavor that you look for in this type of beer. Did not get that overall good warm beer flavor that these should and will give off. Better luck next time Bridgeport.
