| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2006 This is a great beer. One of the first "hoppy" beers that I’ve really enjoyed. I will look for other beers with English Goldings hops. Floral aromas, with average off-white head, orangey red in color. Crisp and light bodied. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA

Poured to a bright orange-red with a thick off-white head. Good lacing. Bitterness was just right. Alcohol presence kicked in a little more than I was expecting toward the end, but a very drinkable beer. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA

The beer provides wonderful aroma of hops, but not at all green. Great balance of hops neatly dominating the malts. Easily drinkable. it is a very nice ESB thegreenrooster (1842), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Pour is a bright orange wiith a small white head. Aroma is a nice floral hop. Flavor is more of the same, nice hop taste with a malty backbone. Very sliky and heavy body makes this a above par ESB. Very drinkable and tasty. Sincere (145), wichita, Kansas, USA

The smell is a faint sweet floral scent. The taste is very earthy, smokey and only slightly bitter. Very interesting spectrums of these characteristics. Ends malty with a fairly bubbly mouthfeel. kwoeltje (1325), Manchester, Missouri, USA
